Des is a keen and passionate amateur Irish photographer taking and making photographs for over 30 years. Living in Drogheda, Co Louth a retired secondary school teacher by profession and a photographer of the film generation having spent more than 20 years making darkroom prints and learning all the skills which help make quality images he advises: When digital photography arrived it opened up a whole new world of creativity and print making for me. I love photographing many genres especially Documentary, Nature, Travel, Visual Art and Environmental Portraiture. I like to photograph people and places and the interplay of people with their environment.
Des was a member of the Fellowship assessment panels of the RPS in Visual Art and Travel for 9 years and Chairperson of the IPF distinctions assessment panel for past 20 years and president of the Irish Photographic Federation from 2001-2004. He continues to lecture and judge photography competitions and salons across Ireland, the UK and further afield.

Joining her first camera club in 2010, Andrea has achieved several photographic distinctions culminating in both a Fellowship of the Irish Photographic Federation and Associate of the Welsh Photographic Federation in 2021, Master Photographic Alliance of Great Britain in 2018, British Photographic Exhibitions BPE4 crowns, PSA 4 * from the Photographic Society of America and EFIAP/b.
An active member of Nottingham & Notts Photographic Society probably best known for creative images having toured the UK and NI and more recently via Zoom, presenting talks regards ‘The Art of Metamorphosis’.
Gordon Rae ARPS MPAGB

Gordon is the current President of the Scottish Photographic Federation, he is also a very keen photographer with a special interest in Nature and Wildlife.
He runs a number of wildlife photographic tours throughout Scotland which he runs from his farm at Lockerbie.
Richard Speirs DPAGB APAGB BPE2

Richard has been a member of Morton Photographic Society in Carlisle for over 40 years and serves on the Executive Committee of the Northern Counties Photographic Federation (NCPF), he has been listed as a judge and lecturer for the NCPF for many years and is on the list of PAGB judges. A selector for many national and international competitions Richard frequently works as a selector for the PAGB Awards for Photographic Merit in both still and AV categories.
His initial interest in photography was to record the Natural World which has since extended to cover virtually all aspects during his 5 decades as a photographer. As well as judging he is frequently invited to talk on the art and techniques of photography to clubs throughout the UK
Peter Yeo FRPS, DPAGB, APAGB

Involved in photography for more than half a century Peter describes himself as a “generalist” taking photographs of whatever catches his eye. Work abroad took him to more than twenty countries allowing extensive travel photography. Now enjoying living in the countryside with much of what is shot related to country living – hills and mountains in the Peak District and the west of Scotland, particularly the Outer Hebrides, Harris and Lewis.
Peter was a member of the RPS LRPS Assessment and Advisory Panel for six years, a selector for a number of national and international exhibitions and PAGB Regional Federations. Currently based in Boston Spa, Yorkshire he is member and past Chairman of GAMMA Fotoforum.
